Training plan for the SwissCityMarathon – Lucerne
Sunday, 25 October 2026 in Lucerne, Switzerland. That is 2 weeks away.
When a build would have to start
ALLUNGO plans a block of a length that suits the distance, then works backwards from race day. For this one:
Marathon — a 18-week build, 5 runs a week
Not enough room left for the full build.
Too close? The next one
The organiser runs this the last Sunday in October, which puts the 2027 race on Sunday, 31 October 2027. That date is not announced yet, so check it before planning to it — but a Marathon build for it would start the week of 21 June 2027.
On the day
One distance: Marathon. Entries, course and timings are swisscitymarathon.ch’s. They decide when entries open and close, and whether the race runs at all — ALLUNGO sells nothing here and takes nothing from them.
The date here is the one the organiser published, rechecked every 1 hour against the list. Confirm it on their site before you enter.
